Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

Flushing is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Flushing follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

βββββ I would not recommend this shop. My tenant brought his 2011 Hyundai Accent here because it had a no-start condition. On June 26, 2026, the shop charged us $584.66 to diagnose and repair the problem. According to the invoice, they determined that an aftermarket alarm system was causing the no-start, removed the alarm and wiring, restored the wiring, and verified through multiple start-up tests that the problem was resolved. The car was driven only 10 miles before it had the same no-start problem again. We had it towed back to the shop expecting them to stand behind their work. Instead, they suddenly said the problem was a bad alternator and wanted to charge hundreds more for another repair. When we declined the repair, they charged us another $136.09 just for towing and looking at the car, even though it had just been repaired there less than two weeks earlier. If the alternator was truly the cause, why wasnβt the charging system diagnosed during the original repair? We paid nearly $600 for what was supposed to be a complete diagnosis and repair of the no-start condition, yet the vehicle failed again after only 10 miles. I expected them to honor the warranty on their wor

I sent my car for check engine light , owner told me itβs going to be $928+tax to fix . Then when I picked up car , they charged me $1228. And 10 minutes I left that auto shop , my car was smoking on the road , they told me that engine oil leaking which is they never mentioned a word about it , now my car was broken down the road, and I have to pay for the towing and repair. I donβt trust them.

My motorcycle is completely stock with no modifications. I came in for a routine inspection. The last time I was here with a different motorcycle, I was charged $6, but this time they immediately asked for $20 without any clear explanation. The staff had a poor attitude and seemed very impatient throughout the process. Whatβs even worse is that after charging me, they didnβt provide any receipt at all. The pricing is inconsistent and not transparent, and the service is unprofessional. I would not recommend this place. If you do go, make sure to confirm the price beforehand and insist on getting a receipt. πππ

My boyfriend and I were staying in the city for a concert and hit a pothole only five minutes away from our hotel. On a Saturday at 4PM, the options looked bleak on how we were going to get it repaired. We took a chance on what was the nearest repair shop to us, and needless to say, they did not disappoint. The mechanics were able to switch the front and rear tire to give the damaged one less load. The staff at this shop was so incredibly kind, honest, and friendly, while resolving our issue immediately as we walked in and gave our situation, all free of charge. I cannot recommend the shop enough for giving us peace of mind!

It's very rare to find honest mechanics nowadays. I came here because my brother recommended this place to me and it's my third visit. Everybody in the front desk are always friendly, service is quick and price is very reasonable, everything is consistent. A+ for me.
